Classic Antique Fairs NEC Winter 2023

We wanted to give a quick summary of our trip to the long awaited return of antique fairs held at the NEC in Birmingham. The first fair of 2023 back at the NEC ran between the 1st-3rd of December and was under new a new fair management team Classic Antique Fairs. The fair took a whole new layout under its new ownership with a more traditional block system and cafe to the rear. Being its first outing footfall heavily relied on the dealers signed up to the event which is understandable as the new fair team builds its mailing list. With a roughly 60 dealers committed to the event this year it allowed for an easy opener with a slightly smaller hall to before which made the event far more personal and the excellent level of commitment by the Classic Antique Fair Team meant that the fair ran smoothly and without any trouble. Set up was simple, with easy access and excellent organisation from both our hosts at the NEC and Classic Antique Fairs and nothing could be too much trouble throughout the fair.

For our first exhibition under the new brand, Jacksons Antique chose to situate on a corner stall with two open sides allowing plenty of space for viewing. The fair was also shortened from previous years with us now opening on a Friday and closing as normal on a Sunday. Throughout the three days it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces from the previous fairs Jacksons Antique would like to personally thank everyone who made purchases from us, it was a good first outing and we are looking forward to being back in 2024. We have confirmed dates for the end of 2024 with Classic Antique Fairs and with some good feedback it allows excellent growth opportunities going into 2024 with more committed dealers and a larger client base we are really looking forward to heading back to the NEC in the new year 2024.
