Jacksons Antique is pleased to confirm our return to the Cotswold Art Antiques Chelsea fair this spring. Following our previous exhibitions at Compton Verney and, most recently, at Chelsea in 2025, we’re delighted to once again exhibit at this vibrant event in the heart of London.

The fair will be held from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd March 2026 at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, a Grade II listed building on the iconic King’s Road. With a rich history of hosting antique fairs for over fifty years, the Town Hall provides the perfect backdrop for this carefully curated event.

LOCATION

The Old Chelsea Town Hall is located on the fashionable King’s Road. The Chelsea Old Town Hall is a short distance from Sloane Square and South Kensington Underground Stations. A prime location for culture lovers, shoppers and foodies alike, Chelsea boasts some of London’s finest eateries, antique shops and galleries, including the famous Saatchi Gallery and RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Well served by public transport links to mainline stations and London’s airports altogether leaves visitors spoilt for choice.

TRANSPORT – HOW TO GET THERE

LONDON UNDERGROUND

 Take the Circle or District Line to Sloane Square. Walk across the square and continue down the King’s Road, passing Peter Jones Department Store on your right. The Old Town Hall is a 10-minute walk on the left-hand side, opposite the lower end of Sydney Street.

BUS ROUTES

 Bus numbers – 49 or 211 stop outside Chelsea Old Town Hall

CAR PARKING

A small public car park (35 spaces) at the lower end of Sydney Street operates Mon-Sat from 07:00–19:00. On-street parking is permitted at metered bays in nearby side streets.

Chelsea Old Town Hall 

Chelsea Old Town Hall stands proudly on the King’s Road as one of London’s most iconic civic buildings, rich in architectural detail and cultural history. Originally replacing an earlier vestry hall from the mid 19th century, the current structure reflects the classical design values of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.

The oldest part of the complex, set just off the King’s Road on Chelsea Manor Gardens, was designed by architect John McKean Brydon and officially opened in January 1887. With its impressive Venetian window, grand Ionic columns, and central cupola, it quickly became the headquarters for the newly formed Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea in 1900. Inside, the main hall and Cadogan Suite have long served as venues for ceremonies and gatherings.

A larger addition followed in 1907, designed by Leonard Stokes. This striking neoclassical facade facing the King’s Road features elegant entrances with fanlights, tall columns, and a prominent street clock. The expansion brought further prominence to the site and reinforced its status as a civic landmark.

Throughout the 20th century, Chelsea Old Town Hall remained an active public venue. Among its many events was a notable concert in 1947 by contralto singer Kathleen Ferrier, and in 1969 it hosted the wedding of Judy Garland. Though the building ceased to be the seat of local government in 1965, it continued to play a central role in community life.

Today, it houses the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office, the main Chelsea branch library, and the Chelsea Art Society. With over a century of civic and cultural significance, this historic building provides an elegant and atmospheric setting for events such as the CADA Chelsea Antiques Fair.
