We are back and settled from our first official outing at the Harrogate Pavilions fair. Before we get started on this month’s newsletter I would personally like to say a big thank you to everyone who made purchases over the three days. As it was our first time standing the fair and sending out tickets it was lovely to see some regular faces attending and clients we have not seen for a while. We were fortunate with the weather setting up and the fair was very well attended which was really positive to see. We also made the Yorkshire Post with our Black Forest Tobacco Jar which was an added bonus for the fair for extra exposure and likewise for the business.

Jacksons antique stand at the July 2024 harrogate antique fair
Our next event will be the Classic Antique Fair held at the NEC in Birmingham which is coming up in a short couple of weeks. As always with the NEC we are excited to get our teeth stuck into another edition and are looking forward to seeing you all there. This will be our last show until the end of the year so if you can make it we would love to see you there!

We have had several emails recently about making offers on several objects and we wanted to make it very clear that we are always open to offers on all our objects. If there is something that you have had your eye on for a while please do let us know and make us an offer. We are more than happy to meet clients on price where possible so please do get in contact and talk to us, we don’t bite!
Additionally, if there is something that really speaks to you but you would like to split the purchase over several payments we are also happy to take layaway payments over a comfortable time frame that suits you. Pay us a deposit, pay the rest over several weeks/months and get your cherished piece when it suits you!

I am an antique dealer and owner of Jacksons Antique, specialising in fine antiques with a particular focus on Japanese art and European decorative objects. With over a decade of experience in the antiques trade, I source and curate pieces for collectors across the UK, the United States, and the international market.
Working primarily online alongside select exhibitions, I am part of a newer generation of dealers helping to modernise the way antiques are researched, presented, and acquired. My approach is built on careful attribution, transparent descriptions, and historically grounded research so clients can buy with confidence.
