Our June 22 newsletter is, of course, dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who is celebrating her incredible platinum jubilee and is the first British monarch in history to do so. We managed to get some time away for the first few weeks in May to recharge our batteries. We went across the pond to see Mickey Mouse and his friends, ate our way around the world at EPCOT, went on safari at Animal Kingdom and even had dinner in space! We had a fantastic time and are grateful to have been able to travel again after a very difficult few years for us all. We have returned ready to dive straight back into sourcing some beautiful objects and even managed to sneak off and find a couple of items to add to our collection while abroad too!

Following our time away, it’s been a busy month in the trade, with Asian Art Week flying by with some exceptional pieces offered across the country. We have managed to source amazing objects, and below, we have highlighted a range of our newest stock exclusively available on Jacksons Antique during the launch of our newsletter. We have added a rare example of Japanese Satsuma by renowned artist Kinkozan, a petit Cartier notebook and a Qianlong period Chinese platter with a scene from the romance of the Western chamber.

I am an antique dealer and owner of Jacksons Antique, specialising in fine antiques with a particular focus on Japanese art and European decorative objects. With over a decade of experience in the antiques trade, I source and curate pieces for collectors across the UK, the United States, and the international market.
Working primarily online alongside select exhibitions, I am part of a newer generation of dealers helping to modernise the way antiques are researched, presented, and acquired. My approach is built on careful attribution, transparent descriptions, and historically grounded research so clients can buy with confidence.
