Chinese Antique Vases
As a simple yet highly effective addition to any home, a Chinese Antique Vase is easily placed and beautifully decorative. It is steeped in history and often decorated with Chinese motifs and culture. A Chinese Vase offers a glimpse into a different culture, adding an exotic element to the home and a strong talking point for visiting guests.
At Jacksons Antique, our Chinese Antique Vases typically fall into the Qing Dynasty timeline from the Kangxi Period (1662 to 1722) to the Xuantong Period 1909-1912 while occasionally featuring the odd ROC (Republic of China 1912-1949) vase and are mainly composed of porcelain ceramic with the occasional metalware or wooden vase.
Chinese Vases are often signed to the base with a two-, four- or six-character mark and will be clearly photographed and translated in all our descriptions.
