Japanese Antique Vases

As one of the main focuses at Jacksons Antique, our collection of Japanese Antiques is vast, and we therefore present our Japanese Antique Vases in their own dedicated collection.

The vases offered range in medium from metalwork such as shakudo, bronze, cloisonne, and iron to wood-carved vases, pottery such as Satsuma Ware, and porcelain such as Kutani.

Typically, our Japanese Antique Vases dateline to the Edo period (1603-1868), Meiji Period (1868-1912), Tashio period (1912-1926) and early Showa Period (1926-1989). We have both collectors’ pieces perfect for academics and specific collectors, as well as decorative pieces such as art deco and mid-century modern cloisonne wares designed to brighten any space.

All of our Japanese Antique Vases have been hand-selected for their historic value, composition, decoration and practical uses, ensuring they offer something for all of our clients.
