Asian art

Discover authentic Asian Art from Jacksons Antique, including Japanese antiques, Chinese antiques and other rare works sourced from the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Our Asian Art collection regularly includes Japanese Satsuma pottery, Japanese cloisonné enamel, Japanese bronze sculpture, Chinese silver, Chinese ceramics and rare decorative objects from across Asia.

Japanese art remains one of the strongest areas within our collection, particularly works produced during the Meiji Period (1868 to 1912), a transformative era that saw Japanese craftsmanship reach international audiences through major exhibitions and global demand. We regularly source fine examples by important makers and workshops including Kinkozan, Ryozan, Hozan, Ando Jubei, Namikawa and other notable artists associated with Japanese decorative arts.

Our Chinese antiques collection includes export silver, porcelain, enamel wares and decorative objects spanning the Qing Dynasty and later Republic period. These objects reflect both domestic craftsmanship and pieces created for international markets during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Alongside Japanese antiques and Chinese antiques, our Asian Art collection also features unusual objects from wider regions including Persian and other Asian works of art when exceptional examples become available.

At Jacksons Antique, we specialise in sourcing unusual and high quality Asian Art with a focus on rarity, condition and objects that stand out within the market. Our collection is regularly updated as new pieces are acquired.
