Late 19th century Copper decorative inkwell in the form of an owl. The bird of naturalistic form crafted from copper with individual feather stokes, glass eyes and polished brass feet. Hinged at the neck opening to allow access to the ink well. The owl perched upon a brass shaped dome with rope like decoration to the centre above a ribbed section before splaying out on the base.
Condition: Very good, age related wear. Solder marks to the rear from manufacture.
