From our collectables category, we are delighted to offer this incredible quality Italian Mid-Century Modern Silver and Enamel Circular Box. The Silver and Enamel Box of circular drum form decorated extensively with alternating enamel and silver gilt pillars around the circumference using the traditional paillons technique. The exterior of the box is finished with a central circular enamel plaque to the lid hand painted with a beautiful floral arrangement by Bruno Corsari. The interior of the Box features a beautifully preserved silver gilt interior with a subtle plain finish. The Italian Silver and Enamel Box is hallmarked Italian silver 925 by Franco Salimbeni 1967 ( FL 391 star) dating it to the 20th century Mid-Century Modern period (1945-1969).
