Exceptional Japanese Meiji period bronze bottle vase. The vase of squashed globular form with a long stem neck and rounded rim. Boldly decorated throughout the entire exterior with raised blossoming flowers stood in a woven basket with the other side stood in a Japanese wave decorated vase. The neck with geometric patterns and a greek key boarder towards the top rim. The base signed with Takeuchi renowned signature and patent number 2211815.
Notes: Takeuchi Sei (Chubei) was a cloisonné artist from Aichi Prefecture renowned for his cloisonné works on porcelain. His works were exhibited and awarded in the Naikoku Kangyo Hakurankai(National Industrial Expositions).

Condition: Excellent, only minor wear consistent with age including a circle of pitting to the base.
