Description
Meiji period bronze Elephant jardiniere. The planter decorated with multiple elephants and their young interlocked in stampede. The bronze cast realistically in high relief with a rough skin texture. The elephants with smooth patinated ears and tusks. To the base of the jardiniere a drainage hole.
Condition: Very good, small split to the top rim, otherwise minor wear consistent with age and use.
