Japanese Meiji period early 20th century bronze wildlife vase. The vase of elongated ovoid form with a central repousse tree with naturalistic texture. The scene flowing through the vase with cranes to the base of the tree standing beside a flowing river and a further crane flying across the rear of the vase. Signed to the base by Shoryusai Chikatoshi.

Measurements: 40cm High x 20cm Wide x 20cm Deep
Condition: Good, slight deformation to the top rim and scratching to a small portion to the shoulder of the vase.
