Description
Japanese cloisonne enamel lidded vase. The vase of ovoid shape with small round base, bulbous body and lidded top. Decorated with a blue enamel base showing two larger ginbari pannels with a dragon and ho-o (mythical Phoenix) amongst multiple floral sprays mounted on a copper base.
Notes | Ginbari is a type of cloisonne with clear enamel over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body.
