Japanese Meiji period miniature satsuma teapot. The satsuma earthenware teapot of small delicate form with slight ovoid shape, gilded handle and spout and small circular lid. Decorated extensively with a floral arrangement to the centre subject with multiple butterflies and roosters. The main scene bordered by a chain of symmetrical patterns with multiple different colours. The top with matching polychrome decoration and gold finial. The base signed with a three character mark for maker Fujisan.
Measurements: 8cm High x 8cm Long x 5cm Wide
Condition: Very Good, 3 small chips to the underside of the lid.
