    Description

    Fine late 19th century ormolu mounted serves style porcelain pot pourri. The cup decorated in typical Sevres fashion with a light blue ground glaze displaying two fantastically painted scenes with two birds on one side and the other with fruit, completed with gilded scrolling boarders to the outside. The inside with matching paintwork with floral sprays and a rippon like floral boarder. The cup mounted within a beatuifully cast ormolu base with blossoming flowers and leaves. To the top twin loop handles delicately attach to a pierced boarder for allowing the pot pourri scents to flow through into the room. The piece finished with a sunflower simulated lid topped by a bee final.
