Fine Baltimore sterling silver repoussè vegetable server by Jenkins & Jenkins Inc. The lidded server boldly chased throughout depicting floral sprays with blossoming flowers, leaves and a symmetrical boarder to the edge. Complete with a matching lid and lopped floral finial. The inside with a character monogram to the centre. Stamped Jenkins & Jenkins, INC. Makers, Sterling 925|1000 Fine, Baltimore. Circa 1910.
Notes: Jenkins & Jenkins was founded in Baltimore as A. Jacobi in 1879. It was later succeeded by Jacobi and Jenkins in 1894 and then formed as Jenkins and Jenkins in 1908-1915. The repoussé technique became very popular in mid-19th century and was a speciality of Jenkins & Jenkins and others working in around the city of Baltimore, Maryland USA.

Condition: Very Good – One small indent to the underside, visible from the inside.
