    Fine set of 8 Royal Copenhagen sea life creature & fish plates. The set beautifully painted with individual fish and sea life amongst green foliage. Each plate with a gilt geometric boarder and further circular boarder within. The rear signed with the Royal Copenhagen mark dated 1969-1974 and the painter J Kondrup. including the rose fish (rødfisk) and Capelin (Lodde).

    Notes | Royal Copenhagen, officially the Royal Porcelain Factory (Den Kongelige Porcelænsfabrik), is a Danish manufacturer of porcelain products founded in Copenhagen in 1775 under the protection of Danish Dowager Queen Juliane Marie. It is recognized by its factory mark, the three wavy lines above each other, symbolising Denmark’s three straits: Storebælt (The Great Belt Bridge), Lillebælt (Little Belt) and Øresund (The Sound). Royal Copenhagen still produces pieces today however it is owned by Fiskars of Finland and produced in Thailand.
