    Description

    Fine exhibition sized Copenhagen porcelain vase by Bing and Grondahl, first quarter 20th century. The vase of ovoid form and giant proportions decorated with landscape scenes in the traditional copenhagen style with hazed pastle colours. To the center trees stem vertically through the vase with a winding track to the rear. Topped with a silver rim reading “FRA Bing & Grondhals | Porcellænsfabrik | Ingvard Holm | 1874-1′ Maj – 1924 | silver marks 830s KCH. Signed to the base with the makers logo B&G along with the three tower logo derived from the Coat of Arms of Copenhagen, reference 535-21-163 and the artist signature Jenny Larsen.
